My last prescription also had an "ADD" column, which was the amount of SPH to add to the basic one to get the reading glasses I asked for.

It looked like this:

OD: -2.00 S | -1.50 C | +0.75 ADD | ...
OS: -2.50 S | -1.00 C | +0.75 ADD | ...

Should we mention that? Is that common enough to be useful?

@Francois: It might be worth mentioning that this is just for reading, and for bifocals and varifocals. They are largely unnecessary for most people. I would recommend a Red:Bold edit here -NottNott (talk) 07:11, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
