Avoid

  • Benzalkonium chloride[1]
    • A harsh preservative
  • "Redness relief" or "eye whitening" drops
    • These are typically vasoconstrictors, which are not recommended for long-term use

Brands

Two irl doctor-recommended eye drop brands for dry eyes are

  • “Blink Tears”
  • “Systane Ultra”

The same doctor suggested buying a bottle and trying it. If it doesn't work, don't waste any more of your money.
