This page documents an Reduced Vision Wiki guideline. It is a generally accepted standard that editors should attempt to follow, though it is best treated with common sense, and occasional exceptions may apply. Any substantive edit to this page should reflect consensus. When in doubt, discuss first on the talk page.

Jargon busting. Jargon words are discouraged as much as possible.
"a definite pet peeve of mine is jargon and unnecessarily complicated terminology", Jake Steiner, November 2019
Reasons for the guideline
Jargon is normally used by a narrow group to convey a regular concept and may not be well understood outside that community or context. English is already difficult for people where English is not there first language.
To mitigate avoid using jargon and in exceptions when it is used, describe the jargon in common language with an example is possible.
