You can call pricey protection agents at any point to prevent editors in certain groups from editing or moving pages.
Use common sense when doing so, for instance high-traffic pages particularly prone to vandalism. Most articles should be unprotected.
Cascading protection
When you use cascading protection, all images and templates used on that page will also have the same protection level as the page you are protecting. This is pretty extreme and is somewhat of a nuclear option - please be careful when using this.
